Ryan Locke
Vice President of Engagement
Ryan Locke is the Vice President of Engagement for NOPA. He previously served as the Director of Sustainability Partnerships and Business Development for Nutrien Ag Solutions, the world’s largest provider of crop inputs. In this role he was responsible for developing and managing the commercial relationships driving field level environmental outcomes on 3 million acres of production in cooperation with major companies like Bunge, PepsiCo, and Ardent Mills. He also led Nutrien’s engagement strategy with major non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) influencing policy and regulatory frameworks in the sustainability and conservation space.
Prior to Nutrien, he was the Industry Relations Manager for FMC Corporation, a global leader in crop protection and biological inputs. He was responsible for supporting FMC’s freedom to operate for its $1B North American commercial business by engaging federal, regional, and state level stakeholders supporting strategic initiatives across FMC’s commercial priorities. This work included supporting agricultural and biofuel policy issues. In addition, Ryan has held roles of increasing responsibility with global leaders in the agriculture space including Bayer, Novozymes, and Syngenta with responsibilities in marketing, communications, product development, technical service, and commercial leadership. Ryan holds a B.A. in Animal Science from Texas A&M University. He currently lives near Omaha, NE with his wife Hayley, and daughter Skylar on a small farm acreage.
He will balance time between Omaha, NE and Washington, D.C. where he will be best positioned to be engaged in supporting our members and partners across the country.
