NOPA pursues the objectives of opening markets, maintaining access, and improving the competitive position for U.S. soybean, canola, flaxseed, safflower seed and sunflower seed products throughout the world.
NOPA works closely with the Department of Commerce, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, Congressional Committees and Members of Congress to achieve these goals.
NOPA supports the Market Access Program (MAP) and the Foreign Market Development Program (FMD) which are pivotal to building commercial export markets for U.S. oilseed meal, among other U.S. oilseed byproducts.
