NOPA Welcomes Corey McCray as Vice President of Government Relations

WASHINGTON – The National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA) today announced that Corey McCray will be the association’s new Vice President of Government Relations, effective March 4. In this role, McCray will guide NOPA’s strategic public policy and advocacy efforts, working to advance policy and regulatory initiatives that support the oilseed processing industry and its critical role in the U.S. food, feed, and fuel supply chains.

“I am honored to join the National Oilseed Processors Association to advocate for our members’ policy and regulatory objectives, bolstering America’s essential food, feed, and fuel sectors,” said McCray. “At this critical time, I look forward to supporting an industry that enhances U.S. energy security and promotes the success of American farmers.”

McCray brings extensive experience in government affairs and energy policy to NOPA. He previously served as a Policy Advisor at Chevron, where he supported the refining and marketing division through key advocacy initiatives and stakeholder engagement. Prior to his tenure at Chevron, he worked at a Washington, D.C.-based public affairs firm, focusing on advocacy efforts for the energy sector. Earlier in his career, Corey was involved in political fundraising, including managing contributions to a national presidential campaign.

Corey holds a B.S. in Political Science and a B.S. in History from Clemson University. He resides outside of Washington, D.C., with his wife, Kristyn, and their son, James.

“We are thrilled to have Corey on the team,” said NOPA President & CEO Devin Mogler. “His deep understanding of energy policy and experience navigating the halls of Congress and the administration will be instrumental in advancing our priorities. Corey’s leadership will strengthen NOPA’s advocacy efforts as we continue to support America’s farmers, processors and consumers.”
